Bangkok: Anti-government protests entered a seventh day on Monday, with protesters ignoring a police order to end a blockade of Bangkok's main airport.
However, the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) let some planes leave the Suvarnabhumi airport on Sunday to pick up stranded tourists from other airports.
On Sunday, police ordered the thousands of protesters to end the siege of Suvarnabhumi and the older Don Muang airport, warning that offenders would be jailed or fined.
There was little sign of compromise as PAD members continued to protest outside the airport terminals.
