Released: Philippine physician licensure examination results

Manila: The Philippines' Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) released on Thursday the results of the nationwide medical board exams.

The commission reported that 3,826 out of 5,958 examinees passed the Physician Licensure Examination, representing a 64.2% pass rate.

Justin Adriel Zent Gautier Togonon of Iloilo City, in central Philippines, ranked No. 1 in the Asian country's licensure test this year, with a rating of 89% in the exam taken in October 2022.

The 25-year-old, a graduate of University of the Philippines (UP Manila), was also a class valedictorian of the Philippines Science High School – Western Visayas Campus. He completed his elementary education from the Children's Integrated School of Alta Tierra in Iloilo City.
