Islamabad: A court on Tuesday gave the death sentence to the accused in former Miss Singapore's murder in Islamabad.

GeoTV reported that Muaz Waqar was given the death sentence for the murder of former Miss Singapore Fehmina Chaudhry, who was killed in 2013 when she returned to Pakistan.

Waqar's accomplice was sentenced to life in prison.
