Kolkata hostel lynching: Two more arrested

Kolkata: Two more people have been arrested in connection with last month’s lynching of a man at the NRS Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, police said yesterday.

The body of Korpan Shah, 28, suspected of stealing, was recovered from the boys’ hostel November 16. He was found tied to a pillar and beaten to death with bamboo sticks allegedly by a group of junior doctors and students. Shah had been mentally unstable following an accident and his mother’s death.
