Los Angeles: The crime drama 'No Country for Old Men' became the lead movie for Oscar glory on Sunday as it won top prize at the Screen actor's Guild Award in a typical Hollywood night.

The movie, directed by Ethan and Joel Coren, was awarded for its best group cast and the Spanish actor, playing a cold-blooded murderer, won the best supporting actor award.

On Saturday, the movie won the Directors Guild Award and is nominated for eight Oscars next month.

"The Coen brothers are freaky little people and we did a freaky little movie, whether you liked the ending or not," actor and cast member Josh Brolin, remarked to critics who disliked the movie.
