Dubai: The UAE is bracing for another day of sweltering summer heat as temperatures soar across the emirates, coupled with dusty winds that could pose health risks to residents.

According to AccuWeather, Dubai will see partly to mostly sunny skies today, with daytime highs peaking at a scorching 43°C. Tonight will remain very warm, dipping only slightly to 36°C under partly cloudy skies. Expect dusty winds throughout the day and night. As of this morning, the current temperature in Dubai is 35°C, but it feels like 37°C due to humidity and radiant heat.

In Abu Dhabi, similar conditions prevail, with highs also expected to reach 43°C under mostly sunny skies. Tonight’s low will fall to 33°C, with clear to partly cloudy skies. The current temperature is 34°C, with a real-feel of 36°C.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a broader forecast for the country, predicting partly cloudy conditions overall, with a chance of convective clouds forming in the east during the afternoon. Humidity is expected to rise overnight and into Friday morning, especially along western coastal and internal regions, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist formation.

Winds will be light to moderate but may freshen at times in western areas, raising dust and sand. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea will see slight to moderate conditions.

Health officials advise residents to limit outdoor activity, stay hydrated, and wear masks if sensitive to air pollutants. Schools, outdoor workers, and vulnerable populations are particularly urged to take precautions.
