UAE charity offers Dh734,600 for orphans in Jenin

Jenin: The UAE’s Humanitarian Appeal International’s (HAI) office in the West Bank has offered $200,000 (Dh734,600) to benefit more than 1,000 orphans sponsored by HAI in the West Bank’s Jenin province.

Ebrahim Rashid, Director of the Human Appeal International Office in the West Bank, said that this amount is part of the programme to sponsor up to 20,000 orphans in Palestine.

Ebrahim Ramadan, Governor of Jenin, thanked the UAE and its charities for their humanitarian efforts for the Palestinian people. He also thanked the HAI for its continuous humanitarian efforts for Palestinians, not only during Ramadan, but also all year round with development projects in various Palestinian districts.
