National Search and Rescue Centre, National Guard Coast Guard Unit carry out risky rescue
Abu Dhabi: The National Search and Rescue Centre, in collaboration with the National Guard Coast Guard Unit, successfully rescued 10 Asian nationals from a commercial ship that caught fire at sea on Thursday.
Emergency response teams responded immediately, carrying out the operation with the highest safety standards in place, authorities said.
All 10 individuals were evacuated without injury, ensuring a seamless rescue under challenging conditions.
The operation highlights the National Guard’s continued commitment to maritime security and rapid emergency response.
