Motorists drive easy as Al Nahda intersection opens to traffic

Sharjah: Residents breathed a sigh of relief as the Al Nahda intersection opened to traffic on Tuesday night and all diversions were removed.

Motorists were able to comfortably commute on the Al Nahda Road through passing the intersection that is now equipped with traffic lights.

Al Nahda Square was closed last week after being under renovation for five days as it was being converted.

The move is part of the massive road improvement projects being executed by Sharjah Public Works Department in various parts of the emirate.

In the past six months six roundabouts in Sharjah have been converted to intersections equipped with traffic lights to help ease the flow of traffic in the emirate.
