Man killed in Ras Al Khaimah car crash

Ras Al Khaimah: An Asian man was killed on Sunday morning in a road accident after his car collided with another vehicle on Etisalat Road here, an official at Ras Al Khaimah Police told Gulf News.

The accident occurred when a car came in from a side road and hit the victim’s car on the main road. The driver of the second vehicle had entered the main road without making sure that it was clear of cars.

Police patrols and an ambulance immediately rushed to the scene of the accident.

The victim died on the spot due to the impact of the accident, the official said. The motorist who caused the accident sustained moderate injuries and was transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Ras Al Khaimah Police are investigating the incident.
