How well prepared is the Arab World to compete in the global economy?

This question will be tackled as part of the larger picture of globalisation by leading management gurus during the weeklong congress here on Total Quality Management in business and education.

The event will witness the Executive Management Forum and Discussion on March 17 at the Burj Al Arab, and the International Best Practices and Experience conference at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, from March 18 to 19.

This culminates in a series of events on Total Quality Management in business and education under the patronage of General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister.

The gathering is organised by the Dubai-based e-TQM College, the world's first online Total Quality Management educational institution, in cooperation with the International Academy for Quality (IAQ).

The congress makes use of small, breakout sessions where the participants can exchange ideas and report back to the total congress.
