Morison Menon Chartered Accountants has released a booklet on the operations of all the 12 free trade zones (FTZs) in the country.
Sheikh Tariq bin Faisal bin Khalid Al Qassimi, chairman of Sharjah Economic Development Department and General Authority of Sharjah Free Zones, received the first copy.
Compiled in a quick reference format, the booklet - Doing Business in the UAE & UAE Free Trade Zones, covers the legalities involved in setting up a business in the UAE in addition to giving an overview of the recent developments in the country including the operations of the Dubai Investment Park, Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC) Dubai Develop-ment and Investment Authority (DDIA), Dubai Knowledge Village, Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, the Palm project, Emaar Properties.
Lauding the extensive research undertaken in compiling the booklet in his foreword to the booklet, Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, director-general of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), said, "Today, the world market is immensely dynamic, and the fast pace of action that characterises modern businesses, needs the support of modern infrastructure for further growth."
