Ramadan in UAE: Dubai’s Global Village announces instant prizes for guests taking 10,000 steps

Dubai: Visitors to Dubai’s Global Village can now win instant prizes just by walking 10,000 steps or more per night during this Ramadan.

The region’s premier multicultural family destination for entertainment, dining, shopping, and attractions, on Monday said it continues to champion cultural unity and community engagement through its Ramadan activations and experiences – Home of Ramadan Wonders.

In alignment with The Year of Community and the #RamadanInDubai campaign, the park has presented the Ramadan Step Challenge, a well-being initiative that encourages guests to embrace an active lifestyle while experiencing the essence of the Holy Month. Launched last Ramadan, the challenge this year runs up to Sunday, March 30.

The destination invites guests to embrace the spirit of togetherness, connection and shared moments through enriching activations this Ramadan. As part of its commitment to social responsibility, Global Village has kicked off the Ramadan Step Challenge for Season 29, offering a unique opportunity for guests to stay active while seamlessly enjoying the many offerings of Global Village.

How to take part

The challenge can be started upon entry to the destination by activating it through the Global Village Mobile App, allowing guests to track their steps throughout their visit.

It can be completed effortlessly while shopping across 30 pavilions representing 90 cultures, enjoying world-class entertainment performances, and experiencing over 200 games, rides, and attractions, primarily located at Carnaval, Global Village’s premier entertainment venue for games and attractions.

What are the prizes?

Guests who successfully complete 10,000 steps in a single night will be rewarded with exciting instant prizes, including entry tickets to Global Village, food vouchers redeemable at select restaurants as well as Wonder Passes to Carnaval, the organisers stated.
