Police, RTA chiefs hold discussion

Dubai: Dubai Police Chief Lieutenant General Dahi Khalfan Tamim met Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Dubai Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) here in his office on Friday.

During the meeting, they discussed domains of common interest between the two authorities within the framework of activating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked between RTA and Dubai Police in 2007.

The MoU aims at enhancing relations of strategic partnership between the two bodies to boost a sustainable cooperation to serve all segments of the society in order to reflect positively on the economic and social march of Dubai.

The meeting was attended by senior officials of both sides.
