ICICI Infotech Services Ltd announced the acquisition of Crossroads, an enterprise relationship management solution company, from Xmediaries.
This was done through the former's Dubai-based wholly-owned subsidiary - Insyst Technologies (MEA) Ltd.
With this, ICICI-Insyst will now offer a full suite ERP-II solution to the extended enterprise enabling organisations in distribution, retail, manufacturing, contracting, energy, pharma and insurance. And it will process transactions and access information across both the intranet and the extranet, encompassing customers, vendors, business partners and employees.
ICICI Infotech is an information technology company promoted by NYSE listed ICICI, India's second largest financial services group and has today established a physical presence in the U.S., UK, Singapore, UAE and South Africa.
Insyst has been the premier Oracle certified solution partner since the time Oracle announced such certification and an Oracle partner since 1989.
Announcing the acquisition, Hari Padmanabhan, president and chief executive officer of Insyst Technologies said: "This really brings back to the fold the team that went out to focus on the e-business extension of Insyst's solutions. The synergies that we can create by providing a one-point solution and as part of the ICICI Infotech domain, our ability to address a global market, will bring significant benefits to our customers globally."
