Working hours in health centres during Ramadan

Ministry of Health announces new working hours in UAE health centres during Ramadan

The Ministry of Health issued a circular to all the directors of the medical districts and primary healthcare centers in the UAE announcing the official working hours during the holy month of Ramadan.

The new working hours are as follows:

Dubai Medical District:

All health centers receive patients in the morning shifts from 9.00 am-2.00 pm. In the evening shifts, Hor Al Anz, Al Ittihad, Al Rashidyia and Al Aweer Health Centers work from Sunday to Thursday from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.


Hor Al Anz Health Center works on Friday “evening shifts” from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight and on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 am.

Sharjah Medical District:

All health centers including Al Riqqa, Al Sabkha, Wasit, Al Rifaa and Al Khalidyia receive patients from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and in the evenings from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.

  • Sharjah and Wasit Health Centers work on Fridays and Saturdays from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and in the evenings from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.
  •  
  • Al Rafaia, Al Dhaid and Al Qaraein centers work in the morning shifts from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm from Sunday to Thursday.
  •  
  • Dibba Al Hosn Health center works from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm and on Saturdays, Monday, Wednesday from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Maleeha, Wadi Al Helw, Al Nahwa, Abu Moosa, Al Madam and Al Thumaid Health Centers work from 8.30 am to 12.00 noon and in the evenings from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Lolooaia Health Center works from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.

Ajman Medical District:

  • Mushairef Health Center works from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and in the evenings from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, it works from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm while the evening shifts are from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Madina Health Center begins from Sunday till Thursday from 9.00 am till 12.00 midnight and in the evenings from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight. On Fridays, the working shifts are from 9.00 to 12.00 noon while Saturdays morning shifts are from 9.00 am to 1.00 noon and evening shifts are from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.

Ras Al Khaimah Medical District:

  • Ras Al Khaimah and Al Jazeera Health Centers work throughout the week from 9.00 am till 12.00 noon and evenings from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Maamoora Health Center works from Sundays to Thursdays from 9.00 am till 12.00 noon while from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Munaeie Health Center works 24 hours and from Saturday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon. The evening shifts are from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.

Umm Al Quwain Medical District:

  • Morning Shift in Al Khazaan Health Center from Sunday to Thursday begins from 9.00 am till 12.00 noon. On Fridays, the shifts are from 9.00 am till 12.00 noon while on Saturdays, it begins from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.
  • Al Salma Health Center works from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon except on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. The evening shifts are from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight while on Fridays from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight.

Al Fujairah Medical District:

  • Muraished, Al Madina and Kadfa work from Sunday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and in the evenings from 8.30 pm till 12.00 midnight. On Saturdays, both Muraished and Kadfa centers work from 9.00 am till 1.00 pm while Fridays from 8.30 pm to 12.00 midnight.
  • All other health centers morning shifts are from 9.00 am to 1.00 noon and evenings from 8.30 pm till 11.00 pm. On Saturdays, the morning shifts are from 9.00 am till 12.00 noon.
  • Al Badyia Health Center works from Sunday to Thursday in the morning from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and the evening shifts from 8.30 pm till 11.30 pm. Saturday shifts are from 9.00 am till 1.00 pm.
