UNRWA commends Khalifa charity Ramadan programme in Gaza

The programme has so far alleviated the suffering of thousands of needy families

Gaza : The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has praised the Ramadan programme of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charity Foundation, which is being implemented in Gaza for the fifth time in a row.

It added that the programme has so far alleviated the suffering of thousands of needy families.

UNRWA said the programme served 25,000 Ramadan iftar meals, adding that the Ramadan programme this year targeted the poorest families and the disabled.
