UAE stands by India after terror attack

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has condemned the terrorist act that targeted an Indian military base located in the Ori area north of Kashmir on Sunday, killing 17 soldiers and injuring 35 others.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation reiterated the UAE’s firm stance towards fighting against terrorism in all its forms and expressed full solidarity and support for the Indian government.

The ministry also expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and the Indian government, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
