UAE announces New Year holiday for public sector

Dubai: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in the UAE has announced that January 1, 2025, will be a public holiday for government employees to mark the New Year.

Since the first day of the year falls on a Wednesday, offices will reopen on Thursday, January 2.
