Khalifa issues law to preserve UAE fixed assets in order to promote national identity and preserve cultural heritage
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued Federal Law No. 11 of 2017 on Antiquities, which aims at preserving UAE fixed assets in order to promote national identity and preserve cultural heritage, for the purpose of reviving and enriching the national heritage of the country.
Shaikh Khalifa also issued a decree pertaining to the amendment of Federal Law No 6 of 2007, concerning the establishment of the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology. According to the decree, the centre will henceforth be known as the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
