All graduates took an oath to serve the nation with loyalty and dedication
Dubai: The Dubai Police Academy held a special ceremony on Monday to celebrate the graduation of 400 cadets and non-commissioned officers. The graduates came from various departments, including Dubai Police, Civil Defence, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and the Security of Transport Department.
The event took place on the Academy’s parade grounds and was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. He was joined by senior officials, high-ranking officers, and proud family members of the graduates.
In his address, Lt. Gen. Al Marri congratulated the graduates and commended them for their dedication and hard work. He emphasised their vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the nation and urged them to uphold integrity, remain diligent, and pursue continuous learning throughout their careers. He also encouraged them to treat all individuals with respect and to serve as exemplary representatives of the police force.
Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jammal, Director of the Police Academy, expressed pride in the graduating cohort. He highlighted the Academy’s ongoing efforts to enhance its training programs to better prepare officers for real-world challenges. He also noted the Academy’s growing international recognition, attributing it to the unwavering support of the country’s leadership and the availability of world-class training facilities.
The ceremony commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. Lt. Gen. Al Marri, along with other senior officers, then conducted an inspection of the parade. The graduates demonstrated their skills with a series of confident and disciplined military drills.
Top-performing cadets were honoured with awards, and all graduates took an oath to serve the nation with loyalty and dedication. The event concluded as the parade commander formally requested permission to march the graduates off the field — symbolising the beginning of their service as official members of the UAE’s security forces.
