Free parking in many areas of Sharjah on New Year holiday on Sunday

Sharjah: Sharjah Municipality has announced that public parking spaces across the city will be free of charge on Sunday, January 1 on New Year holiday.

Parking, however, will not be free in areas which are marked for 7-days a week parking zones identified with additional blue parking signs.

The municipality urged all motorists to use parking spaces properly during the holiday to avoid fines. The paid parking system will resume on Monday, January 2.
