Fire breaks out in Al Quoz, Dubai

Dubai: Firefighters were battling a huge fire in two warehouses in Dubai's Al Quoz Industrial Area 3 on Sunday.

Workers told Gulf News the warehouses belong to Sana Fashions. The warehouses are next door to a Modern Bakery branch on Street 6b.

Police have cordoned off the area. At least three fire trucks, police and emergency patrol units were at the scene.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

A thick plume of smoke was seen rising from the area located behind the Al Barsha Traffic Department.

It is not yet clear what caused the fire.
