Human resources ministry announces shows, prizes, and more in cooperation with partners

Dubai: Workers across the UAE will be treated to a series of New Year’s Eve celebrations, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) announced.
The events will include entertainment activities, competitions and prizes, alongside various festivities held within workers’ accommodations, organised by a number of companies.
The celebrations also recognise workers’ vital role in the UAE’s development across various sectors. Companies interested in involving their employees in the festivities can visit ensureeventsnye.com, select from the available events, and complete their registration.
The initiative, held under the theme ‘Happy Workers, Thriving Business’, will be carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security; municipalities across the UAE; police departments, Abu Dhabi Ports Group; General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai; General Directorate of Civil Defence and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority; Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs in Dubai; Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai; the Labour Standards Development Authority in Sharjah; National Ambulance; Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services; and Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone.
Earlier this month, MoHRE, in cooperation with its partners in the federal and local government and the private sector, had organised a series of festivities to mark the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad. The celebrations were held under the theme ‘Our Workers’ Happiness in Our Union’s Celebration’, with the participation of more than 1 million workers in various emirates throughout the country.
