Major parks and leisure facilities have extended hours during Eid holidays

Dubai: In celebration of Eid Al Adha, Dubai Municipality has announced special operating hours for public parks, residential green spaces, and major leisure facilities throughout the emirate.

Earlier last week, the UAE declared June 5 to 8, 2025, as public holidays for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha, with work resuming on Monday, June 9. Dubai Municipality also encouraged residents on social media to enjoy “Eid adventures” and family-friendly activities across its recreational destinations.

According to the Municipality, the operating hours of residential parks and squares will operate from 8am to 12 midnight during the Eid holidays. Sports walkways will be open daily starting from Fajr prayer.

Major parks such as Zabeel, Creek Park, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, and Mushrif Park will operate from 8am to 11pm.

Within Mushrif Park, the mountain bike track and walking trail will be open from 5am to 6pm.

Quranic Park will welcome visitors from 8am to 10pm, with the Cave of Miracles and Glass House open from 9am to 9pm.

Dubai Frame will operate from 8am to 9pm, and Children’s City will be open from 9am to 8pm on weekdays, and from 2pm to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Public park hours during Eid Al Adha holidays:

  • Residential parks and squares: 8am to 12 midnight

  • Sports walkways: Open after Fajr prayer

  • Major parks (Zabeel, Creek Park, Al Mamzar, Al Safa, Mushrif Park): 8am to 11pm

  • Mushrif Park mountain bike track & trail: 5am to 6pm

  • Quranic Park: 8am to 10pm

  • Cave of Miracles & Glass House: 9am to 9pm

  • Dubai Frame: 8am to 9pm

  • Children’s City: 9am to 8pm (weekdays), 2pm to 8pm (Fri & Sat)

Timings of abattoirs

Dubai Municipality has also launched a campaign to ensure health and safety at official abattoirs during Eid Al Adha. All four abattoirs—Al Qusais, Al Quoz, Al Lisaili, and Hatta—are fully equipped with veterinary checks, trained butchers, and sterilisation systems. They will operate from 7:30am to 4:00pm throughout the holidays.

The public is encouraged to use smart apps for booking and home delivery. The Municipality also warns against unauthorized slaughtering and is regulating livestock markets, expecting up to 80,000 animals.
