Dubai: Dubai Municipality has announced that sports fields inside neighbourhood parks in residential areas will close at 8pm daily.

The move, which the civic body attributed to the convenience of the people, came into effect on Tuesday.

However, it added that there will be no change in the timings for accessing sports fields in major parks and pond parks across the emirate. These will be closed according to the parks’ existing closing hours, the municipality added in a Twitter post.
