Dubai: The Dubai traffic court has fined a European man Dh5,000 after convicting him of causing a collision, fleeing the scene, and driving without a valid license.

The incident occurred in the Business Bay area, where the man reversed his vehicle without caution and struck another car, causing damage.

According to prosecutors, he failed to stop or report the accident, instead fleeing the site without justification.

Police later identified his car using surveillance cameras and arrested him.

Investigators also discovered that he did not hold a valid driver’s license at the time of the incident.

The man admitted to the charges during questioning by Dubai prosecutors.
