Dubai: The Indian unicorn Darwinbox will tap $140 million in new funds after signing agreements with Partners Group and funds managed by the global investment firm KKR. Another participant in the funding was Gravity Holdings.
Darwinbox, which specializes in HR technology solutions, has been active in the UAE and Gulf markets, with clients such as Lulu and ADX.
Headquartered in Hyderabad, the company has seen 9x growth in the last three years, a period which coincides with its entry into the MENA markets.
Darwinbox’s human capital management platform serves more than 1,000 enterprises, and has expanded into the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, the UK, and the US.
“With top-tier investors backing us, we’re poised to amplify our global momentum and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions for thousands of enterprises worldwide,” said Jayant Paleti, co-founder of Darwinbox..
While it already offers Arabic support on the platform, Darwinbox will soon launch a pan-GCC multi-country payroll solution this year.
