Habtoor Polo claims Halloween Cup

Dubai: The Habtoor Polo team lifted the season-opening Halloween Cup with a smooth 10-5.5 win over the Rhinos Polo team at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort and Club, on Friday.

The joint UAE/RA Polo team emerged as the champion in the subsidiary tournament by defeating Mahra Polo scoring 9-5.5 with the mare Michelle being awarded the tournament’s ‘Best Playing Pony’.

Sponsored by The Rising Sun, La Perle and the Al Habtoor Polo Resort, the Halloween Cup had a total of Dh16,500 worth of prizes for spectators.
