UAE driver lands seat at Motaworld Racing

Dubai: Motaworld Racing has completed its line-up for the Formula BMW Europe Championship with the recent signing of Asad Rahman, the brilliant young Junior National Karting Champion of the UAE.

Rahman's successful karting career paved the way to a place in the Formula BMW Scholarship Programme last year and a debut race in Bahrain.

The 17-year-old said: "I am extremely happy to be racing in such a competitive series as F.BMW Europe. This season will require a lot of hard work but I want to learn about Formula BMW as quickly as possible.

"I need a team like Motaworld which has a lot of experience and knows how to win races."

Alan Waite, owner of the British team, said: "It's nice to know Asad chose our team because of our experience and continuing success. We're very happy to have him on board and help him develop his career."
