Doha: World champion Max Verstappen powered to his ninth win of the Formula One season with victory at the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday.

The Red Bull driver, who wrapped up a fourth straight world title last weekend in Las Vegas, took the lead from pole-sitter George Russell and held off second-placed Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
