Jebel Ali Racecourse to hold blood donation drive

The Jebel Ali Racecourse is teaming up with the Dubai Ministry of Health for a unique Blood Donation Drive which will be held on Friday at the racecourse. Dr Ameen Al Amiri, head of the National High Committee for Blood Transfusion Services, encouraged race goers to donate blood at the three specially-equipped mobile blood collection units.

"There is always a need for more blood at hospitals and I encourage people who are healthy to donate blood and support a worthy cause," he said.
