Abu Dhabi Golf Club's Thomas Nesbitt wins Phoenix Aerospace Medal golf for April

Abu Dhabi: Thomas Nesbitt (ADGC) won the recent Phoenix Aerospace April Monthly Medal with a gross 73 at Abu Dhabi Golf Club played over the National Course.

15 year-old, Nesbitt’s ‘round of the day,’ included nines of 35 and 38, with birdies on holes: 1, 8 and 17. The 12 and Under Handicap Net Division (A) was won by Eric Hardman (10) with a net 71.

An impressive front nine of 38 with four birdies in five holes on hole 2, 4, 5 and 6 set up the Divisional win for Hardman.

Division B (13 and over) was won by Ricardo Wyckstandt (16).

The format of the Phoenix Aerospace Monthly Medal Order of Merit Series is the best three scores from a minimum of four Medal scores in a six-event series.

The final Phoenix Aerospace Abu Dhabi Golf Club Medal of the season will be held on Saturday, May 28, for Abu Dhabi Golf Club members only.

Tom Mason (1) currently leads the Phoenix Aerospace Order of Merit Series with just the final May tournament to play.

The prizes were presented on the day by both the Abu Dhabi Golf Club Men’s and Lady Captains, Matty Dolan and Sally Harman respectively.

Thanks were given to the title sponsors of the Abu Dhabi Golf Club Monthly Medals, Phoenix Aerospace, and all the 32 players for braving the heat and challenging conditions.
