Abu Dhabi: The players and officials of Al Jazira have sent an urgent call to UAE football fans to come and attend their match against Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad tonight in the Asian Champions League.

Entry will be free at the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium for Al Jazira fans who enter from the gate allocated for home fans, whether they are locals or expatriates.

"The fans are the twelfth man for our team and we will be motivated to play better if they come and support us," goalkeeper Ali Khaseef said.

"We saw how the fans played a big role in the final of the etisalat Cup on Friday and both Al Ain and Al Wahda showed their best because of the large number of fans attending the match. We hope as many will come to our match," he added.

The final of etisalat Cup was attended by more than 30,000 spectators.

"I have confidence in the fans and I believe they will come and support us," added midfielder Ebrahim Diaky.
