Abu Dhabi: Defending champions Atlas Telecom and last year's runners-up William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana will clash in a rematch, but in the semifinals of this year's Salama Insurance Trophy cricket tournament.
In Friday's quarterfinal fixtures Atlas defeated new-comers Al Fara'a by 93 runs while Gymkhana scored an equally impressive 103-run win over another new team, Fortune Group.
In the remaining two matches, UAE Exchange Centre trounced United Bank Limited by 150 runs while Nissan Al Masaood Automobiles put the brakes on Avis Rent-A-Car with a 5-wicket win.
Sandeep Shetty of UAE Exchange stole the batting limelight with a belligerent 157 studded with 12 fours and 12 sixes to help his side score 298 for 5 in 25 overs.
Veterans Nasir Siddique (30) and Qazi Ayoub (48 not out) offered some resistance as Atif Ijaz and Sanjeev Dias picked up three wickets each to hasten UBL's downfall.
Shaiman Butt, with 11 sixes and 10 fours, hammered 126, which helped Atlas score 318 for six.
