Hassan Ali Taha, the head chef of the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club (AAESGC), boasts of four restaurants he supervises at different clubs inside this massive sporting complex.

"We have four restaurants that cater for different athletes with different tastes and I am proud of the success we have achieved," Taha told Gulf News.

" We are proud of the fact that we have regular clients from Abu Dhabi and Dubai who come every Thursday to attend the Lebanese Night at the Rikab Restaurant for longer than a year."

The Rikab Restaurant is at the equestrian club while the Amblers is at the Rugby club, Palm Greens at the golf club and the Target Coffee Shot at the shooting club.

"We serve different foods for different diners. In the Rikab, for example, Lebanese and Middle Eastern food is popular while Western cuisine is a favourite at Amblers.

"The Lebanese Night is a social and cultural event with a singer, a dancer and all the tasty variety of food and drinks. The fees are only Dh150 per person. We have an average of 200 persons every Thursday for the event.

"The speciality of the Palm Greens Restaurant is the stone grill which offers a unique dining experience.

"We serve daily for about 250 [people] which greatly increases on weekends. We have also catered for private occasions like weddings and company conferences and also events in our hall."
