A thousand cuddly toys were scattered around Bogota's main square on Monday with a message denouncing the sexual violence that punishes 37 children in Colombia every day.

Hundreds of stuffed animals, dolls and action figures were laid out in Bogota's iconic Bolivar Square to protest violence against children and demand more funding for organizations that help children who have been growing up without their parents.
