Mother-daughter duo: 43-year-old often mistaken for being daughter's sister

A 43-year old mum and her 19-year old daughter; now, guess who's who. According to Fox News, an astoundingly youthful-looking 43-year-old woman claims people are often mistaken that she is the sister to her daughter who is aged 19. Joleen, Joleen's mom and daughter Meilani: Fox News quoted Jam Press to whom Joleen said "I was pretty young when I had [my daughter], so it's not entirely impossible that we could be sisters."

Daughter Meilani Parks [R] has now become accustomed to being mistaken as Joleen's sister, not that she minds the comparison.

Joleen who is, reportedly, a teacher at an elementary school has over 74,000 followers on her Instagram page at the time of writing this. She attributes her youthful look to early skincare, most importantly sunscreen and a derivative of Vitamin A. She further explained: "I rarely drink alcohol, I get a lot of rest, and eat a balanced, healthy diet."

Although the duo shares a strong bond, mother Joleen has drawn some lines between their relationship. She reportedly said: "Meilani and I have never gone clubbing or partying together and I don't foresee us doing that anytime in the near future."

Joleen's Instagram following has grown substantially since the news came out and she posted a Thank You video on her Instagram story this week.
