In Pictures: Meet Pakistani actress Hareem Farooq - Queen of hearts

She started with theatre, followed by TV projects, Hareem Farooq ventured into the world of films a couple of years back.

She has worked in many hit TV serials such as ‘Sanam’, ‘Dil-e-Beqarar’, ‘Tere Baghair’, ‘Diyar-e-Dil’, ‘Main Khayal Hoon kisi Aur Ka.’ and many more.

She has acted in many block buster Lollywood films such as ‘Dobara Phir Se’.

Her favourite co-star is Ali Rehman.

In her dream role she really would like to play a very strong woman. A character which would motivate people, not just women.

She joined the league of Pakistani A-lister Mahira Khan by being an official representative of the leading cosmetic brand L'Oreal from Pakistan. The ‘Parchi' actress has been chosen by L'Oreal on the 110th anniversary of the brand to attend a three-day event in Paris this year.

She completed her early education from Karachi Grammar School. She graduated from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad in Sociology and Journalism.

She is first female actor-producer of Pakistan. She has produced many commercially and critically successful projects like ‘Parchi’, ‘Mein Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka’ and ‘Janaan’.

Her favorite movie is Madagascar.

Her Favorite city is Istanbul. And in her bucket list is to visit Iceland.
