The UAE Ministry of Labour has confirmed that the private sector will remain closed on December 2 and 3 on the occasion of National Day and Commemoration Day, formerly known as Martyrs’ Day.
The public sector will remain closed from December 1 to December 5 according to the UAE Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.
Last week Guides published a story about 3 long weekends left this year and today the UAE Government has confirmed December 1 to December 5 will be a holiday.
November 30 is Commemoration Day according to the UAE Official Public Holidays 2015 List, however, the ministry has confirmed that it has been clubbed with National Day giving us a total of 5 days holiday from Tuesday, December 1 to Saturday, December 5.
The UAE will go back to work on Sunday, December 6.
