Late nurse Gertrude Dyke honoured

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has conferred the Order of Independence of Third Rank on the late Canadian nurse Gertrude Dyke, also known as Dr Latifa, in recognition of her outstanding efforts to the health sector in Abu Dhabi.

On behalf of Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of The National Centre for Documentation and Research, Dr Hadef Jua'an Al Daheri, Minister of Justice, decorated Ernest Dyke, head of the family, with the Order.
