Dubai: Careers, the UAE’s leading recruitment, training and education exhibition for UAE nationals, will open on Tuesday.
Uniting private and public organisations of all sectors and sizes, Careers UAE 2015 will provide UAE nationals of various levels of skill expertise with the opportunity to build a better understanding of the diverse and rewarding careers available in a wide range of industries.
The event, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will take place from April 28 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
Careers UAE 2015 will feature a wide array of interactive sessions providing guidance and the latest insights on topics that concern employers and recruiters, including talent acquisition and the revolution in student recruiting.
During the first day of the event, Reem Al Hashemi, UAE Minister of State, will deliver the keynote speech.
The event will also include sessions on how to use personal branding to boost student’s careers by Bayt.com, while LinkedIn will give a session titled ‘The Student Recruiting Journey Unveiled’.
Al Futtaim — one of the companies participating in the event — announced that it will be hiring 1,000 Emiratis in the next two years and aims to attract many qualified UAE nationals at the fair by providing employment opportunities in different fields.
Al Futtaim will be offering job opportunities within its wide-ranging and diverse business operations, including automotive, services, retail, real estate development and electronics as part of its bid to employ over 1000 Emiratis in the next two years.
Careers UAE 2015 is open exclusively for UAE nationals and HR practitioners.
