Dubai beach club Nasimi Beach at Atlantis, The Palm, is closing down from May 4 after eight years of operation. But the venue will return later this year with a new look and name.

It’s also not saying goodbye quietly: British DJ Example will perform on the last day, along with David Craig, Charl Chaka, Adam Baluch and resident DJ David de Luca for a day-long party starting at 11am. Example, who rose to musical fame with his album Won’t Go Quietly, is known for his breakthrough single Kickstarts. His next album produced hits Changed the Way You Kiss Me and Stay Awake.

In its eight years of operation, Nasimi Beach has hosted a number of Halloween parties, full moon parties and New Year’s Eve events hosted by international and local DJs and artists such as Hardwell, David Guetta, Steve Aoki and Avicii.
