Initiative to help deliver enhanced patient-centric care
In a bold move to advance digital innovation and healthcare delivery, Zulekha Healthcare Group, one of the UAE’s leading private healthcare providers, has announced key technology partnerships to power its next phase of growth. The Group is collaborating with Oracle Health (Cerner) and IQVIA to implement Oracle Health’s Electronic Health Record (EMR) system and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). Additionally, they are partnering with Oracle Corporation to implement Oracle Fusion Cloud applications for enterprise-wide modernization hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The Group has also selected Salesforce Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud as its cloud-based CRM platform to enhance patient experience and engagement. Mastek will be the implementation partner for both the ERP and CRM systems.
Founded in 1964, the Zulekha Healthcare Group operates two multidisciplinary hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah, two medical centres, five pharmacies, and a smart medical fitness centre. With a workforce of over 2,500 employees — including more than 300 doctors and 600+ nursing staff — the Group provides specialised care across 30+ disciplines and manages 285 inpatient beds.
Ranked as the World’s Best Hospitals by Newsweek the organisation is positioned among the forerunners in the UAE healthcare sector. The Group has also received extensive recognition for its commitment towards quality care and sustainable business practices, and received the prestigious Dubai Quality Award as well, underlining a commitment to providing high quality healthcare to patients and society.
These initiatives mark a major milestone in Zulekha Healthcare Group’s ongoing mission to deliver Patient First care by integrating intelligent, AI-powered platforms across its hospitals, medical centres, and pharmacies. The exclusive suite of Oracle Health solutions for Electronic Health Records (EHR) will enable a holistic view of patient records for clinicians, patients, and researchers to take meaningful decisions and see improved outcomes.
The automated health insights will improve overall operational efficiencies, ensure secure exchange of patient records and enable real-time accessibility to critical patient information systems.
To enhance financial oversight, optimise supply chains, and strengthen compliance, Zulekha Healthcare Group has also entrusted Mastek with the implementation of a unified Oracle Fusion Cloud suite. The program includes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), all integrated with the Group’s Hospital Information System (HIS) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
Complementing this operational overhaul is the deployment of Salesforce Health Cloud & Marketing Cloud, which will unify all patient interactions — across appointments, emails, messaging platforms, and phone calls — into a single, 360-degree view. This connected platform is designed to boost retention, reduce no-show appointments, educate and engage patients, and improve patient adherence to care plans.
The CRM rollout, expected to complete within three to four months, will be tightly integrated with Zulekha Healthcare Group’s ERP environment, enabling seamless coordination and AI-powered patient insights.
Taher Shams, Managing Director, Zulekha Healthcare Group says, “By leveraging Oracle Health, IQVIA, Oracle Corporation and Mastek’s transformation expertise, we aim to drive greater agility, strengthen decision-making, and enhance data security while maintaining our commitment to patient-first healthcare. Our collaboration with these partners marks a crucial juncture in our digital journey.”
Akram Sami, Managing Director & Regional GM – MEA, Oracle Health, adds, “This strategic milestone is a major step by Zulekha Healthcare Group's leadership towards accelerating clinical and operational AI adoption, implementing next generation EHR and harnessing the power of data to offer evidence-based care in the UAE. Their integrated Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform from Oracle Health will utilise Oracle Fusion and be hosted on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in the UAE. This is designed to enable the creation of a full healthcare ecosystem to elevate patient care, advance clinical outcomes, and optimize operational efficiencies across their entire network.”
Amit Khanna, SVP & GM, Salesforce Health, says, “The ability to gain deeper insights into patients and provide more customised interactions is key to driving improvements in healthcare outcomes. We’re excited to partner with Zulekha Healthcare Group as they redefine patient engagement across the region.”
"Leveraging Mastek’s Oracle expertise and deep healthcare domain knowledge, we empower organisations like Zulekha Hospital to achieve smarter, faster, and more patient-centric operations. We are committed to supporting their transformation journey and are excited to drive innovation and deliver measurable outcomes together," says Surya Nunna, Executive Vice President, AMEA, Mastek.
With this powerful digital ecosystem, Zulekha Healthcare Group is well-positioned to set new benchmarks in data-driven, patient-centric care across the UAE and beyond.
