After spending a lot of time abroad performing in several Arab cities, Lebanese singer Myriam Fares returned to Beirut to
film the video for her new song - which is written in the Gulf Arabic accent.
Moukana Wein? (Where is She?) is written by Shaikh Saoud Charbatly. The music is by Kuwaiti composer Abdullah Al Akou, and the arrangements are by Tarek Akef.
Desert rider
Myriam, who wants to keep her special style even if she chooses a new kind of song, worked on the video with director Yehia Saade. She managed to convey the song's idea in a very original way.
In the video, Myriam is in the desert, alone with her thoughts. In her loneliness she thinks about her love, who she truly
misses. A rider of the desert, she goes on a long journey...
Evaluating the work, the Lebanese singer said: 'I'm eager to live an experience like that. I want to forget myself in the
magic of the desert."
The video will be shown on TV by the end of the year. In December Myriam will shoot two more videos, and will get ready for her performances during Eid Al Adha, Christmas and New Year.
A new look coming to you
Simon Hadchiti has a new look, a new song and a new video clip in which he saves a barmaid. In Jai La'indak (I'm Coming to You) he plays the role of a guy who falls for a young woman working behind a bar in a trendy nightclub.
But one night, when she is doing her usual show, she burns her long hair - and Simon saves her. The story doesn't end here; sad to cut her beautiful hair and shaken by the accident, the young lady develops a phobia, refusing to go to work.
Simon, sitting alone in the bar, misses her more and more. So he makes the decision to find her. He visits her and persuades her to go back to work. And so she does. The video clip ends when the love story begins.
I'm Coming to You has lyrics by Ahmad Abdul Nabi. Jad Mehanna composed the music.
Simon Hadchiti, who has been away from the public scene for a while, decided to take a chance and has adopted a new look, created by makeover experts just for him.
