After three shows in Canada, Lebanese stars Haifa Wehbe and Ragheb Alame returned to their homeland last week. Haifa and Ragheb performed together in Montreal, Toronto and Edmonton gathering together thousands of Lebanese and Arab fans.

The audience was so large that the ballroom's owners, where the two stars performed, had to reduce the surface of the stage so it could hold a larger number of fans, who went crazy when Haifa and Ragheb sang a famous Egyptian duet Ya Bint el-Sultan.

Rumours

The two stars decided to call their Edmonton appearance: “The performance of a lifetime''. When the singers arrived at the airport, fans welcomed them with flowers and, in hope of talking to Haifa and Ragheb, they followed them in convoy from the airport to the hotel.

A few days before the tour, it was rumoured that Haifa's performance had been cancelled because of a fracture to her leg. Haifa denied the rumours in an interview with Radio al-Shark in Montreal.

During her performance she chose to wear three dresses, bearing the signature of two famous Lebanese designers, Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad.

Haifa and Ragheb, who were supposed to perform in the US in the beginning of November, postponed the tour until next March.
