Dubai: The most anticipated wedding of 2026 is just two months away, and details are starting to trickle out. According to a recent Us Weekly cover story, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have locked in their date, chosen their venue and are deep in the planning process. Here is everything insiders have revealed so far.

The date and why it matters

The couple are set to wed on 13 June 2026, and the date is no coincidence. Thirteen is famously Taylor's lucky number, a detail her fans have tracked across her career for years. The timing also works perfectly around Travis's schedule as an NFL star, giving the couple enough time to celebrate and honeymoon before he heads to training camp in late July.

Where the wedding will be held

Swift's USD 18 million Rhode Island mansion will serve as the main venue, and it is easy to see why the couple chose it. The property sits overlooking the ocean with generous lawns that make for a naturally stunning backdrop. According to Us Weekly sources, the entire area will be "very private and guarded," giving the couple the security and intimacy they are clearly prioritising.

With the guest list having grown, some of the festivities will spill over to the Ocean House, a five-star seaside resort nearby. "The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding will be split between the venues," a source told the publication. And knowing Taylor, there are contingency plans in place. "Taylor always has a plan B and C for every scenario," an insider added.

The guest list

Around 150 guests are expected, which is scaled down by celebrity wedding standards. "They've gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private," a source told Us Weekly. "As of now, they've scaled it down. It's no longer going to be a massive blowout."

On Taylor's side, the guest list reportedly includes some of her closest friends: Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, the Haim sisters and Zoe Kravitz. Travis's side is expected to include his brother Jason Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and actor Miles Teller.

As for bridesmaids, Taylor is reportedly skipping the traditional bridal party altogether. Instead, she plans to spend the night before the wedding with her closest girlfriends, including Selena and Gigi, at her Rhode Island home. A bachelorette party is also reportedly in the works, though details have not been shared.

The wedding itself

Despite being one of the most famous people on the planet, Taylor is keeping the actual ceremony rooted in tradition. Sources tell Us Weekly the wedding will feature her father Scott walking her down the aisle, a father-daughter dance and a mother-son dance. "Taylor loves those emotional, meaningful moments, and Travis is on the same page," an insider said.

The aesthetic is said to be classic and romantic. White flowers, gold wedding bands and a traditional 1950s-style tiered wedding cake are all reportedly on the table. The overall tone sounds intentionally timeless rather than flashy, which feels very much in keeping with the private, grounded version of Taylor that has emerged in recent years.

The dress

The wedding dress is perhaps the most hotly anticipated detail of all, and while no designer has been officially confirmed, sources suggest Taylor has already chosen her gown and is in the final tailoring stages. She is known to frequently wear Oscar de la Renta on red carpets, and wore Roberto Cavalli and Versace during her Eras Tour.

Names like Sarah Burton, formerly of Alexander McQueen, and Vivienne Westwood have also been floated in speculation. Given that this is Taylor Swift, multiple outfit changes throughout the day would not be a surprise.

How they are planning it

By all accounts, the couple are approaching the planning process as a team. "They're both involved and making decisions together," a source told Us Weekly, adding that they are "keeping things light" and "focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure." Taylor's mother Andrea has reportedly been the most hands-on family member, with Taylor greatly valuing her input throughout.

The honeymoon and what comes next

The honeymoon is expected to take place shortly after the wedding, with the Caribbean reportedly being considered as a destination. It will be a brief window of rest before Travis returns to football commitments in late July.

As for Taylor's career, a new album is reportedly in the works, though there is no pressure around a release timeline. "It's still very much in the creative stages," a source said. There are also no plans for a Life of a Showgirl tour. "She never meant to do a massive tour attached to it," the insider added. "Taylor's priority right now is her personal life. She and Travis are saving all their energy for the big summer they have coming up."

With two months to go, the details will only get more exciting from here.
