‘Raja Mandhiri’ is a tale of brothers bonding

Usha Krishnan, a former associate of Tamil director Suseenthiran, will debut as a director with Raja Mandhiri, a Tamil family drama that is centred on two brothers. Kalaiarasan and Kali Venkat play the lead characters. Shalin Zoya, Malayalam television actress enters Tamil cinema with this film and is paired opposite Kalaiarasan.

Set in the countryside, Raja Mandhiri promises “good humour and revolves around two brothers,” says cinematographer P.G. Muthiah, who is also the co-producer. Justin Prabhakaran has composed music.

Raja Mandhiri releases in India on June 24.
