Actor-comedian Rajiv Thakur's father has died.
Krushna Abhishek, who was in Indore for an event with the comic, shared the news with fans and informed them about the change in plans.

"There's a little sad news that I want to share with you all. Just as we were taking off for Indore, Rajiv Thakur, who was supposed to perform with me in Indore tomorrow, lost his father," Krushna said in the video.
Krushna also spoke about the impact of the loss on Rajiv and those close to him. He said, "This is very sad news for him, me and the entire fraternity."
He also asked people who had bought tickets for the event to take note of the change in plans following Rajiv's absence.
Meanwhile, Rajiv has not yet shared a statement or spoken publicly about the loss.
Rajiv is known for his work in Hindi television comedy and Punjabi cinema. He first gained attention after participating in the third season of 'The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.' He later appeared in several comedy shows, including 'Comedy Circus' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show.'
