James Reid link-up to Kim Chiu's sister a ‘misunderstanding’

A “misunderstanding” — that’s how teen heartthrob James Reid described news linking him to Wendolyn Chiu, the sister of actress Kim Chiu.

“Sweet” photos of Reid and the younger Chiu went viral last week, prompting reports that the two were dating.

Reid has come out with a statement denying any special relationship between him and Chiu, saying they only go out as friends, and always with a group.

Reid is the better half of the hugely popular duo, JaDine, the other half being teen star Nadine Lustre.

The rumours created quite a stir among JaDine fans, most of whom bashed the younger Chiu on social media.
